A Member of the Body of Christ
I am presently a school teacher in Texas. In the summer of 1964 I went to my first meeting of the local church. In that meeting I knew that Christ was there. I even chose a hymn to sing about: “Only Christ I'll sing; everything is in Christ, and Christ is everything.” This is what I wanted, more of Christ, not what He could do for me or I could do for Him.
I have found that Christ is still speaking today what He spoke through the apostles. I hope we Christians will enter into this reality of what the apostles saw and experienced of this wonderful Christ.
I personally have been helped by the writings of Watchman Nee and Witness Lee. They have helped me to search the Scriptures and to see things that I had never seen nor would probably ever see on my own. Christ is a living person in me and I know why, thanks to the ministry of these two brothers. I am growing in the Lord day by day and have seen that Christ wants His Body to be made one. Christian believers loving Him more than anything else and expressing Him organically by enjoying Christ's wonderful life and learning to exercise their spirit that is mingled with Him will result in His Body being made one. Praise the Lord. So let's live by this uncreated, eternal Life of God!
I have been recovered back to Christ as life. I also have seen this divine truth spreading and helping many people around the world. I am so happy to be a part of this.
